The dairy has been furnished with machines, which have been collected from various parts in the country, since the original machines were sold when the dairy closed in 1968. The machines are driven by a steam engine, which gets pressure from the steam boiler fired up with wood.
The dairy is fully functional. It manufactures butter and smoked cheese, which are sold in the co-op.
