Trønninge Co-operative society...

The building is a completely newly built copy of Trønninge Co-op, which is still located in Trønninge town. It started as a Co-op in 1889, but it ceased to be in 1979.

Each drawer of the till has its own sound, so the manager could sit in his room and hear who was doing their jobs. The manager´s flat is furnished with a land central.

In the cellar there is a store room and in the attic there are 2 rooms for the shop-assistants.

In the Co-op you can buy many kinds of groceries fom salt herring, coffee substitute and liquorice pipes to yard brooms, chip baskets and handmade scrubbing brushes....

The Co-op also sells produce from Nyvang for instance butter and cheese from Søstrup Dairy.
