In 2004 the Co-operative Village Nyvang established a copy of a classroom from approximately 1900-1950. With the help of effects received from schools and private persons we have succeeded to recreate an environment so authentic that you can experience the atmosphere from the school of the past. There are old school desks, teacher’s desk, boards with visual instructions and maps in the classroom, as wells as exhibitions of old teaching aids, books and preparations. On special occasions it is possible to meet the old teacher and write with pen and ink, or even write with a slate pencil on old slates. The classroom is happy to receive objects related to the era.
