The Co-operative Village Nyvang

The co.operative village is a place where you will use all your senses. Our 24 houses and buildings create the framework for how life was about 100 years ago. Here you can inhale and taste the smallholdings samples, e.g. coffee, with Rich´s, pancakes, the dishes of the area or what is offered on the day. You can hear the ringing sound from the forge, where the blacksmith is shapping the burning hot iron on the anvil or talk with the rabitts or the other animals.

In the shops there is a lively trade, the bell rings when the dairy delivers the milk.

There are different exhibitions in the main building. It also contains, a drawing-room, a study and a dining-room.

The steam rollers can be seen in The Red Barn.

The Wagon Collection is the biggest collection of carriages in Northern Europe.

You can eat, or drink coffee at Madame Blue at the restaurant, or you can eat your own lunch packet in the park, or at the tables that are around the area.

Meet the craftsmen and the tradesmen and have a nice talk about the old days.
