The police station was inaugurated on the 27th of August 2006, when the chief constable wearing an old chief constable`s uniform fom the 1920ies, was transported threre in Nimbus with a side car borrowed from the Police Historical Society.

The desk and the cabinet are from the policeman Peter Marius Stubs` house 45 Vesterbro, Nykøbing Sj., where he had his policeman`s office. The other furniture is from police stations in Nykøbing and Holbæk.

The door of the jail is from the old police headquarters in Kalundborg.

The policeman makes patrols walking and by bicycle in the Co-operative Village, where he manages different police business with the citizens of the Co-operative Village. He makes a handwritten report daily.

It is posssible for children to have a small greeting with them from the police station with their fingerprint and one of the old stamps from the police station. Sometimes during the year the policeman arranges different activities among other things police dogs arbejde and competitions with police
