The Co-Operative BakeryIt is located in the original cowshed from 1903. The shop is typical of the late 1940ies, which sells bread typical of the time as loaf of bread made of bolted rye flour (and wheat flour), beans, and at Christmas time unknown Christmas sweet biscuits. The furnishing is partly from the honey cake bakery in Christiansfeld. The machines in the back of the shop are the originals e.g. the forms used to make crusty rolls, while the ovens are new (demand from the health authorities). |
